Information
She was the epitome of an ideal maid and a shining example of a loyal monsters, but man. I wanted Kinue to be more, like, soft! More gentle, more kind!
— Keima's thoughts of Kinue

Information[]

Kinue is one of the 3 monsters summoned by Keima to assist the inn.

It’s some kind of fairy spirit that does house chores and stuff. Silkies. House spirits with beautiful appearances that helped the owners of their homes with chores.

Appearance[]

She has light green hair and eyes, which is common in the Silky race. She was such a purebred house helper that she was born (with DP) wearing a maid outfit.

Personality[]

She’s kind of like everybody’s mom. Her calm atmosphere and love of cooking make her feel like a dedicated married woman.

Her truest love is cleaning and she is an expert in every chore imaginable. She is an expert cook as well, and Keima planned on making her the head chef of the Dancing Doll Inn.

Kinue’s pride wouldn’t allow her to use {Purification} while cleaning, but she didn’t mind using wind magic to blow trash away or anything like that.

What sometimes comes as a shock is that Kinue is the most, professional, of the mosnter trio who puts her work and duty above all else. Not hesitating to bring doom on any threat to the dungeon and Keima. As seen when she offered to elimate Michiru.

Summoning[]

Neruneh, Rei, and Kinue were summoned with Dungeon Points after Keima realized that their inn was understaffed. He noticed it when he had to work after Niku collapsed and had to rest for a day.

They were summoned to the {Master Room}, however, they were asked to go to the {Boss Room} later on because Keima planned to hold a Naming Ceremony. They received their name during this occasion.

Story[]

Volume 4[]

Kinue had masterfully learned the recipes Keima vaguely explained to her and could now perfectly recreate Japanese cooking on her own.

Notes[]

  • Silky.Silk. “Kinu (絹)” means “silk” in Japanese. Thus, Kinue. Keima thought about just calling her Kinu, but Kinue sounded more like a real name in this world.
  • Out of all the dungeon administrators, she is the only one that hasn't appeared on a cover of the light novel.
